Visiting and operating rules

By purchasing a ticket and entering the premises, you declare that you have read the visitor regulations and agree to all provisions.

Brief summary:
  • You will not touch the cars without the prior permission of the owner or an authorized person and you acknowledge that in the event of damage (even by your child) you assume all responsibility and the owner of the car may require you to pay for the repair costs and at the same time such behavior may lead to removal from the area and invalidation of the ticket.
  • You avoid any behavior that could lead to damage to health or property.
  • You give permission for a security check upon entry and possible storage of prohibited items for safekeeping.
  • You agree to the recording and publication of audio-visual content from the event and you acknowledge that you may appear in published photos or videos.
  • You will not come drunk or under the influence of narcotics, nor will you consume these substances in area.
  • If you see anyone damaging property, please report it to the organizing team.
  • All movement within the event area is at your own risk.
  • We reserve the right to make changes to the program, guests or announced partners without refund.

Complete version of the visitor and operating rules:

1. Introductory provisions

These visitor rules are a guideline issued by the Petrol Palace z.s. association, company ID number 19393466, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague, section L, file 77774 (hereinafter referred to as the “operator” or “organizer”), which determines the basic binding rules for persons entering the premises of the event area and using the facilities located in the area (hereinafter referred to as the “visitor rules”).

The purpose of the visitor rules is mainly to ensure safety, fire protection, hygiene, health and property protection at the Petrol Palace event, as well as to ensure ideal conditions for the conduct of all events (hereinafter referred to as the “events”) that will be part of the Petrol Palace. The aim of the visitor regulations is also to ensure a pleasant social atmosphere in the Petrol Palace area.

For the purposes of these visitor regulations, the Petrol Palace area means the visibly demarcated premises of the operator of Troja Castle – GHMP – U Trojaského zámku 4/1, 171 00 Prague 7 (hereinafter referred to as the “area”). The area will be open to the public according to the information on the website www.petrolpalace.cz.

The area is visibly demarcated and entry to the area is only possible with a valid ticket or other identification specified by the operator. By purchasing a ticket and/or presenting a ticket upon entering the premises and/or entering the premises for an event, each visitor expresses his/her agreement to the conditions set out in these visitor regulations and, upon entering the premises, is obliged to comply with all conditions and rules of conduct set out in these visitor regulations and undertakes to comply with them throughout his/her stay there. For the purposes of these visitor regulations, a visitor and/or the public is understood to mean any person entering the premises, including representatives of the media and technical personnel.

The provisions of these visitor regulations shall apply similarly to persons entering the premises on the basis of a special contractual relationship with the operator and/or its contractual partners.

The scope and timetable of the event program is communicated on the website with the address www.petrolpalace.cz, the scope of the program may be changed, modified or omitted without prior notice. Given the scope of Petrol Palace, these changes do not affect the cultural experience of the visitor. The organizer reserves the right to make any changes to the program, partners and guests, even without prior notice and without entitlement to compensation.

2. Petrol Palace Area

By purchasing a ticket or receiving an identification bracelet, a contract for participation in the Petrol Palace event is concluded between the visitor and the organizer. A ticket is understood to be a wristband issued by the organizer, allowing entry to the event to an unspecified person, and an electronic ticket allowing entry to the event to a specific person.

Ticket types are defined and determined by the organizer Petrol Palace, online ticket sales are carried out exclusively on the website www.petrolpalace.cz. It is not possible to request a different ticket than that defined by the organizer, or to claim discounts, benefits, etc. based on disability, group, gender, nationality, etc.

Every person in the area during the event is obliged to have a valid ticket or be properly marked with an identification band and/or other document authorizing them to stay in the area throughout their stay in the area, and at the request of an employee of the organizer and/or a person authorized by the organizer and/or security service, to prove their authorization to be present/move in the area without delay. Anyone who is unable to prove their authorization to be present/move in the area may not be allowed into the area and/or may be expelled from the area. Visitors and the public may enter the area, or its designated zones, only with the consent of the operator, only during visiting hours and only in accordance with the conditions set out in these visiting regulations. Any complaints may be made only before entering the area.

Supervision of compliance with and respect for these visiting regulations in the area is carried out by duly designated employees of the operator and other persons authorized and duly designated by the operator, and within the scope of their legal powers, also by the Police of the Czech Republic and the Prague Municipal Police.

Persons who are under the influence of alcohol or other addictive and narcotic substances, as well as persons whose behavior endangers the safety and/or health of persons and/or property located in the premises, and persons whose actions are in violation of legal regulations, will lose their entry permit to stay in the premises without the right to compensation and may not be allowed into the premises and/or may be expelled from the premises by an employee of the organizer and/or a person authorized by the organizer and/or the security service. Likewise, persons who violate the rules set out in these visitor regulations and/or do not respect the instructions of the organizer’s staff and/or persons authorized by the organizer may not be admitted to the Petrol Palace premises and/or may be expelled from the premises without the right to a refund of the entrance fee.

Persons who are not admitted to the Petrol Palace premises and/or are expelled from the premises under the conditions set out in these visitor regulations are not entitled to a refund of the paid entrance fee or other costs incurred for entry and participation in the event. The organizer may also restrict or completely prohibit further entry to the Petrol Palace premises for persons specified in this provision.

The sale and serving of tobacco and alcoholic products is prohibited in the Petrol Palace premises. Only the organizer may offer alcoholic beverages in limited quantities, exclusively to persons with access to a special refreshment section intended exclusively for event partners and persons cooperating with the organizer, who will be specially marked for access to this section.

3. Visitor obligations

Visitors to the event are obliged to behave in the premises in such a way that their actions do not endanger the safety and/or health of third parties and/or their property, as well as the facilities located in the premises, and furthermore, their behavior does not restrict, threaten or bother other visitors beyond the extent appropriate to the circumstances arising from the ongoing event.

Visitors to the event are obliged to comply with the instructions and regulations of the organizer’s employees and/or persons authorized by the organizer and/or the security service, as well as the instructions and regulations of the Police of the Czech Republic, the Prague Municipal Police, the Fire Rescue Service and the Medical Rescue Service.

Visitors to the event are obliged to respect the rules resulting from these visitor regulations, generally binding legal regulations regulations, as well as rules of good conduct and good manners.

Visitors to the event are prohibited from bringing into the premises – in particular the following items:

a) racist, derogatory, vulgar, or other materials contrary to good manners;
b) weapons of any kind, as well as all objects that can be used as cutting, stabbing, or striking weapons or other objects that could endanger the safety, health or life of visitors (e.g. scissors, etc.);
c) sprays, corrosive, flammable (e.g. perfumes in containers over 200 ml), explosive, coloring, or other substances that endanger health or property;
d) bottles, containers, cans or other objects made of fragile, shatterproof or exceptionally hard materials;
e) fireworks/rockets, flares, smoke bombs and other pyrotechnic items or launching devices;
e) alcoholic beverages and/or addictive and narcotic substances;
f) any animals or entering with them, with the exception of assistance or guide dogs of visitors with disabilities (holders of TP, ZTP or ZTP/P cards);
g) materials promoting a political party or movement, or any politically oriented materials;
h) excessive luggage and baggage, bicycles, scooters, electric scooters, electric bikes, electric motors, (electric) unicycles, roller skates and other similar means of transport;
i) strollers;
j) laser pointers.

The operator or persons authorized by him, in particular the head of the security service (Supervisor) and/or his superiors, have the right to decide on the danger and/or inappropriateness of individual objects brought into the premises by the visitor. The inspection may be carried out upon entry to the premises, or at any time after the visitor enters the premises.

In the event that the visitor witnesses damage to property, he is obliged to immediately report this fact to the organizational team or security officer on site and identify or describe the culprit.

In the event that the visitor is a minor under 15 years of age, he is obliged to be accompanied by an adult and this adult is fully responsible for the minor.

Visitors may be asked by the operator or a person authorized by him to leave inappropriate items or excessive luggage in the storage room, which is located next to the cash register before entering the premises. The decision of these persons is binding for the visitor to the premises. The operator does not guarantee sufficient storage capacity and the permanent possibility of storing inappropriate and prohibited items in this storage room.

Visitors to the event are obliged to allow the operator’s employees and/or persons authorized by the operator to inspect the items and luggage brought in for the purpose of checking compliance with the previous provision. If a visitor refuses to undergo a search in accordance with this provision, he/she will not be allowed into the premises and/or may be expelled from the premises without compensation.

Visitors to the event agree to undergo a security search in order to check compliance with these visitor regulations, both a search of luggage and a personal search by the operator’s staff and/or persons authorized by the operator and/or security service, upon entering the premises. If a visitor refuses to undergo a security search, he/she may not be allowed into the premises and/or may be expelled from the premises.

3.1. Visitors are further prohibited from:

a) touching the vehicles on display without the prior, express consent of the vehicle owner;
b) promote any political party or movement, or product or service;
c) climb over or enter any buildings and equipment on the premises, in particular facades, fences, walls, barriers, lighting equipment, trees, columns, roofs, guardrails, supporting structures, etc.;
d) enter areas that are not intended for visitors and are marked as inaccessible for these purposes;
e) throw any objects into areas where visitors or the production team are moving;
g) smoke outside the areas designated for this purpose by the operator;
h) bring drinks into the premises;
i) start a fire, ignite or shoot off any pyrotechnics;
j) arbitrarily move or otherwise manipulate equipment and/or facilities located on the premises;
k) manipulate water, electricity, air or other equipment on the premises in any way;
l) destroy any equipment and facilities located in the area, including park trees and grass;
m) describe, label or paint any equipment, facilities or communications in the area, damage any equipment or put it out of operation,
n) perform bodily functions outside the toilets, or pollute the area in any other way;
o) enter the area without prior consent or instructions from the operator and/or a person authorized by him;
p) threaten violence and/or commit it against an individual and/or group of people and/or incite others to such action;
q) sell tickets and any goods without permission,
r) distribute or place any promotional and advertising materials in the area without the written permission of the organizer;
s) throw garbage outside the designated places!
t) display, disseminate or publicly promote racist, derogatory, vulgar or otherwise objectionable slogans or images and/or incite others to such conduct!

Visitors are not entitled to carry out any business or similar activity in the premises without the prior written consent of the operator and/or in violation of the terms of the written consent granted by the operator, or to distribute and/or sell or offer any items to other visitors, including newspapers, magazines, printed matter, advertising brochures, etc., to carry out mediation, advertising, as well as to store any items in the premises.

The participant in the event participates exclusively at his own risk, is responsible for all damage he causes, acknowledges that if the ticket is lost or the identification bracelet is removed, the contract becomes invalid and he is not entitled to demand entry to the event.

3.2. In addition, the event participants undertake, within the framework of safety:

a) to provide adequate personal assistance in the event of a fire, natural disaster or other emergency (e.g. health indisposition of another visitor), unless this puts themselves or their loved ones in serious danger or endangerment, or unless an important circumstance prevents them from doing so, and to provide the necessary material assistance;
b) to throw ashes and cigarette butts from cigarettes and other tobacco products only into designated containers. To be careful when lighting tobacco products (matches, lighters);
c) not to smoke indoors;
d) not to damage installed safety signs and equipment;
e) not to damage or in any way limit the use of installed portable fire extinguishers;
f) not to damage or in any way limit the use of hydrant systems or other fire safety equipment;
g) not to damage or in any way interfere with installed electrical equipment;
h) not to damage or in any way restrict the use of the control elements of installed technical equipment (distribution boxes of electrical equipment, main switches, main water shut-off valves, etc.);
i) when a fire alarm is declared, follow the instructions of the event organizer, members of the preventive fire patrol, security guards, or members of the responding units of the integrated rescue system;
j) drawing into your own cups (from any source in the area) is prohibited for hygiene reasons.

4. Liability for damage

Each visitor enters and stays in the area at their own risk. The organizer is not liable for damage to property or health of event participants, unless such damage is caused by a violation of legal regulations by the organizer and in direct connection with such violation. The organizer’s liability for damage is limited to an amount corresponding to a maximum of the price of the ticket purchased by the participant. For the avoidance of doubt, the organizer shall not be liable for any injuries or accidents caused by the visitor through his/her own carelessness, neglect of his/her duties and failure to comply with the visitor regulations or instructions of authorized persons. The operator shall not be liable to the event participant for any damage incurred in connection with not being allowed into the event area or being removed from the area and not being allowed to enter again as a result of a breach of obligations under these visitor regulations (in particular, a breach of obligations under Articles 2 or 3 of these visitor regulations).

Visitors may also move around the area on unpaved surfaces, where carelessness may cause injury. Visitors, especially the elderly or those with physical disabilities, must move carefully on smooth and uneven surfaces in their own interest and avoid injury. The organizer is not responsible for damage caused by an injury caused by the visitor’s own carelessness or failure to comply with the visitor regulations.

Visitors are obliged to hand over to the operator and/or a person authorized by the operator and/or the security service all objects found in the area (keys, phones, wallets, cards, etc.).

In the event that visitors find any suspicious objects in the area, or objects that are capable of endangering the property, lives and/or health of third parties, they are obliged to immediately inform the operator and/or a person authorized by the operator, or the security service. Each visitor is liable to the operator and/or any third party for any damage resulting from his/her violation of the rules resulting from these visitor regulations and/or other binding legal regulations.

The operator is entitled to demand from the visitor the return of any item that caused the operator and/or any third party injury and/or damage.

Visitors are obliged to inform the operator and/or the security service immediately of any injuries and/or damage occurring in the premises.

In the event of evacuation of the premises or other emergency situations, visitors are obliged to follow the instructions of the operator and/or persons authorized by the operator, the security service and/or the integrated rescue system.

Visitors are obliged to obey the instructions and orders of the above-mentioned persons and to respect the safety signs and information signs placed in the premises.

The organizer is entitled to additionally set other restrictive conditions and obligations for entry to the premises in connection with the current legislative and hygiene regulations valid on the date of the event. Failure to comply with them by the visitor may be grounds for refusal of entry to the premises. In such a case, there is no entitlement to a refund of the entrance fee.

In the event of evacuation of the premises due to adverse weather conditions, fire, security situation, etc., there is no entitlement to a refund of the entrance fee, provision of alternative entry or any compensation. This provision applies to all participants in the event (visitors, staff, exhibitors, employees and cooperating organizations and companies).

Compensation for any potential damage caused by a visitor to the organizer or a third party will be recovered in accordance with the relevant legal regulations, including lost profits (e.g. as a result of a fine being imposed by the state professional supervision authorities, cancellation or termination of the event, etc.).

5. Other provisions

The organizer processes some personal data of visitors as a personal data controller within the meaning of Article 4(7) of Regulation (EU) No. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, the so-called General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as the “Regulation”). Comprehensive information on the processing of personal data within the framework of the event within the meaning of Article 13 of the Regulation, including information on the purpose of individual processing activities, their legal bases, recipients of data and the rights of the visitor as a data subject are provided on a separate page here: www.petrolpalace.cz/privacy-policy.

By entering the premises, visitors agree, without further notice, to the free use of their image or likeness as part of any video recording, transmission or production of an event held in the premises for commercial or promotional purposes within the meaning of Section 84 of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code (hereinafter referred to as the “Civil Code”), within the framework of displaying all or part of the event held in the premises by the organizer and/or its contractual partners. The consent to the use of the image or likeness pursuant to this provision is granted by the visitors to the organizer and its contractual partners for an indefinite period, and the visitor is entitled to revoke this consent, and unless this revocation is justified by a significant change in circumstances or another reasonable reason, the visitor is liable to the organizer within the meaning of Section 87(2) of the Civil Code for any damage incurred as a result of the revocation of consent. The processing of personal data within the framework of the use of video recordings of visitors is governed by the information on the processing of personal data in accordance with the previous paragraph.

Visitors to the event also acknowledge that audio and/or video recordings may be made on the premises for the purposes of press, radio, television or similar reporting. Visitors acknowledge that their consent is not required for the making of these recordings, within the meaning of Section 89 of the Civil Code, if these recordings are used in a reasonable manner and if this use does not conflict with their legitimate interests.

6. Final provisions

The rules set out in these visitor regulations may be further supplemented by rules relating to individual events organised on the premises. These supplementary rules will always be appropriately published on the premises or available from the operator or security service, and visitors are obliged to comply with them. Any active participation or involvement of a visitor in individual events on the premises is at their own risk. The organizer is not responsible for any damage to the visitor incurred during this activity.

These visitor regulations come into effect on 1 September 2025.

Rights and obligations not expressly regulated in these visitor regulations are governed by generally applicable legal regulations, in particular Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, as amended.

The organizer reserves the right to change these visitor regulations at any time.

The organizer defines the program, information and presentations on the website.

Social networks, social network communicators (What’s Up, Massenger, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) are not intended for communication with the organizer, they are only promotional channels towards the visitor.
